The First Serrada Escrima Counter Technique

One of the first counterstrike techniques taught within the "Davis/Cabales Serrada System of Escrima" is the (inside-block & counter technique) Which is normally used against a Serrada Escrima number one strike. In this series of how-to photo's; 'World Serrada Escrima Federation' Chief Meister Guru Ronald Ruppin, squares off against former {GSG9} Polizei Officer Bernd Grossmann. Meister Guru Grossmann is also a distinguished instructor & lifetime member within the {WSEF} as well. Although movements first learned within the 'Serrada Escrima System' appear to look mechanical & slow in regards to counter movements; once the movements have been well learned & refined, they are then delivered with top speed without any hesitations or breaks in between movements.

(L-to-R) Meister Guru Bernd Grossmann & Chief Meister Guru Ronald Ruppin

(Note) Both instructors personally trained & graduated under GM "D". These photographs were taken in Berlin, Germany
