He was military. He taught me to train under worst case scenario tactics. I train in day time, night time conditions

How can you fight something that you cannot see?
Something you never seen before.
Our acute techniques are for not in these conditions.
Our footwork are for not in bad environments

You must be specific and smart in your training.

I switch up my weapons and switch up playing with different types of martial artists. To keep me in modern times. I spend time with criminal elements to keep me sharp and learn. I Switch up to realistic based training.
I test my guys under worst case scenarios training concepts.

I train them in ambush attacks and survival tactics for
Armed opponents. They train Fighting as a unit vs. Dueling and verses different combat scenarios.
I train Fun to serious tactics to fit the occasion
I train Civilian to police to military

I switched up environment training today
You have to adapt your foot work to the terrain and weather. I am in Mexico training
A Mountainous terrain and in the morning it’s cold and foggy. Uneven and rocky with dangers of Cactus, brushes, snakes and falling.

Though because you are not at war time.
You have to move silently a police unit from deploying hand to hand combat for removal of sentry’s and establishing a unit within without employment of fire power. Securing area and handling of criminal arrests scenarios.
To me this is escrima
