Hello everyone... I am forwarding the message below from Professor Joseph of Eskabo Daan. The tentative date for this event is April 20, 2013.

Please feel free to contact him if you are interested.

I would like to invite all FMA schools and styles to a Day of Play. A benefit for Mission High After School program and One Child at a Time,Inc. the idea is to gather many FMA styles and schools to demo on a stage for all those interested in seeing FMA live. We will then have a number of seminars following the demos. It will be a community event so everyone will be asked to chip in a small fee to watch the demo and also to participate in the seminars. The admission will cover rental fee, parking and stage hands to operate lights. We look to film this occasion as well since we will be in an actual stage setting. We will be getting some people to film this as professionally as possible. A flyer is being worked on as we speak but just wanted to give people a heads up so we can get a rough estimate of interest. If you could please pass this along.

List seminar instructors as of now

UFMAC to hold tryouts for a competition team to represent UFMAC at different out-of-town tournaments.
• It was discussed that UFMAC can use its funds to assist the team with registration fees, since we are a nonprofit organization.
• Suggestions for set criteria to be discussed further. The team should include different divisions such as carenza, padded point, padded continuous, and Live stick fighting.
• Instructors to approach students / winners from different tournaments.
• Team or individual competitors have to be an UFMAC member, or at lest vouched by instructor.
To advertise the UFMAC tournaments in the future we want to start inviting instructors and schools from the Philippines to come and participate.
