Here we are at week three drills to practice:

1. Footwork needs to be practiced using your V-step methods. With your partner swinging at you with with a forehand strike, use your parry block and step left then pivot, check and counter strike.

2. With your partner swinging at you with with a backhand strike, use your parry block and step right then pivot, check and counter strike.

3. With your partner thrusting at your center parry block, check step right and counter strike

3. With your training knives have your partner strike at you with a slash-forehand-remember steel beats flesh! So cut then check, pass. Practice open and closed methods for forehand backhand and thrusting-remeber get you body out of alignment.

4. Empty hands- With your partner swinging at you with with a forehand strike with a stick, use your parry block and step left then pivot, check and counter strike with a left  Bolo punch-Knockout point # 3.

5. Empty hands- With your partner swinging at you with with a backhand strike with a stick, use your parry block and step right then pivot, check and counter strike with a right  Bolo punch-Knockout point # 4.

Until next week
