Thank you Henry.  The eye wear actually came about because sticks would fray, and stick dust would get into some of the guys eyes.  It's always a good to stay safe anyway.  It's not mandatory, but I suggest it to my students. We do change the stick size and length up from time to time, depending on what we are doing.  As the students gain in experience we have them move to play around with longer sticks, and also lighter sticks.  Thanks again Henry Mabuhay Ang Serrada!

Nice video. Love seeing Serrada at play. Great check hands being used and love the feed into the elbow at 1:41". Also good to see a guy wearing safety glasses. Never had a problem in my FMA training but really learned the value of those at work. Great idea. Doesn't get into the way of training and it's keeping your eyes for life. Love the short sticks as well. Try Serrada foundational techniques with all sizes/lengths of sticks it's a lot of fun. Mabuhay Ang Serrada!
