Nice flow...I like working flexible weapons with a garrote, a pipe saw and a nice piece of chain....all easily transferable from panyo.

The old Cholos used to do this as well, but their techniques weren't as expansive as what you show. Their main thing was sewing a marble or rock at the end. They would whip it out straight into the face and back, like whap! whap! whap!.

In this video clip,i just tied several knots at the end of the bandana and Mr Kosakowski is right,usually,one ties a ball bearing or coins or just something that would "help".For not so long ago,when wallets were not yet popular among the old folks,they used their bandana or panyo to keep their coins safe:)

This is a nice video to see. I learned some panyo with Edgar Sulite and Larry Hartsell. They used to put a ball bearing or coins at the end of the knot to make it work nicely. Its cool stuff to know. Thank you for posting this.

That's great stuff! It is always amazing to me how "simple" it can be to gain the upperhand in a confrontation.  I have definitely got to make a study of this type of weapon/tool.
