I don't know about you, but I collect knives of all kinds for practice and personal protection.  Have been doing so for a fairly long time.

Bark River Knives (BRK) makes a very nice Moro Borong, but it in A2 steel. A2 steel is a good steel but because it is a tool steel there are much better steels out there to be had.

I called BRK and they told me that if I wanted to see the Moro Barong in CPM 3V, which is an awesome steel, it keeps an edge and does not rust very easily they told me that I'd have to have interested parties contact:

Bark River Knives directly:

DLT Trading:

then go to "CONTACT" and tell them, "I am interested in a CPM 3V, Bark River Knives Moro Barong, and I'd like you to request the manufacture of them from BRK!"  Make sure that you give them your email address and phone number!

It will not be cheap, I expect it to cost at least $400 at retail after the typical retail discount, but it is an awesome knife and in CPM 3V would be out of this world and an heirloom quality blade to pass down to your family.

I just wanted to point out that I have no affiliation with any of these parties, but have purchased a BRK Moro Barong in A2, and am looking fwd to buying one in CPM 3V.

I use to be on here all of the time and was an administrator at

I'm just getting back in to training with Bahala Na, Kirk McCune, remotely, from Chicagoland area with my brother..
