Mix up you weapons, start with using longer sticks then go to shorter sticks, then work with wooden swords use a long pole say 5 feet long. Work on you empty hands try empty hands verse stick going for disarm and then return fire back on them. try working out at the beach in the sand go to some woods and try in the woods on a trail, find an alley and try you skills, Remember that your open hands works like the stick until get knee level then its your legs are the same as the low shots! Do you art slowly and work on you Chi- breathing, now you have Tai Chi with a stick.
