FMA Hawaiian style

Just got back last night from a 1 week vacation to island of Oahau. Still feeling a bit jet laggy, but hanging in there. While I was on Oahau visiting friends and family, I had chance to meet up with a number of Eskrima clubs. Met a lot of really good Eskrimadors that have been practicing for years. Many of them are also tallented craftsmen, healers, and musicians. I already miss the food, Uke music, and the trade Winds blowing dispite the fact in rained every day. Thetre are so many Filipinos… Continue

Training on Boracay Island?

I will be on Boracay Island in October and want to find a school that I can train with while I am there. Does anyone know what schools are local to the island? Any help would be appreciated. My FMA background is in Kabaroan, some Serrada, Lameco, La Coste, and Filipino Boxing. I also train in JKD and Muay Thai.

Yours in the Arts,

That does not change the fact that we should train and mentally prepare ourselves for these situations. Many of us have had to utilize our skills in less than life threatening situations, and a large number of us know people that have found themselves in mortal danger.

I wanted to convey a couple of "personal" instances where all constraints were… Continue
