I do know how you feel, I too am the only FMA instructor within a 30 mile radius in my area. But I don't consider that as a bad thing but as an opportunity. An untapped market ready for the picking. But I would like to talk to you more about putting together a marketing strategy that is cost effective. As you can see from your thread, that preety much 99% of the people agree w/my approach to starting up a small school. All I ask is that when you are ready to purchase those marketing materials that you consider me first.

Abecedarios, twirling, forms etc. If you get a chance, order a copy of the "Eskrimadors" Documentary, very well done, a good short history etc. You'll enjoy it. Where exactly are you? The DP uniforms are proprietary. They can be obtained, but shouldn't be worn with ranking belts from other styles or systems. Do you ever get to the midwest? We will probably be doing several more DVD's with Century in August.
