You are welcome.....Everything is fine here, how are you?
Training is going well, i am currently training Balintawak, Kung Fu (various styles) and Doce Pares together with Henry Jayme. He has a background with instructors like Teofilo A. Velez (Teovels Balintawak), Grandmaster Victor Cagadas of the Doce Pares Club, Grandmaster Timoteo Maranga of the Kuwentada Escrima System and he studied both Northern and Southern Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu styles such as; The Little Tiger, Two Shadow Fighting, Tiger and Crane, Heron, Rat and Snake, Shooting Star, Cross Leg Fighting, Budda and Tat Kun Tao......I think he is a good teacher and that his background is a good add on to my background within the Dacayana System, Villasin Balintawak and Nickelstick Balintawak. That's the styles i hold Instructor degrees in, but when i teach i also use parts from my background within Ju-Jutsu and Bujinkan..... :)
How about you, how is your training?
Soon you will be able to post your blog to your wordpress site and it will automatically post on MyFMA.net as well. (If you want it too.) :)
I have been training in the martial arts since 1974. I am a long-time Taekwondo practitioner. I was first introduced to Filipino martial arts in 1988 by Bruce Siddle, a police combatives instructor. In 2000 I met John Malmo and have practiced his methods and training systems since then. I really enjoy the freedom and "flow" of Filipino MA, as compared to the rigid Kata-based TKD stuff.
thanks for the great comments!
