Mission Statement:
The San Wazi System of Survival’s mission is to draw out and reveal the martial capacity of all its participants. We believe self-defense is instinctual and part of everyone’s archetypical being; We all have a burgeoning warrior within. It is this facet of our humanity we wish to engage.

About San Wazi:
San Wazi is a free-flowing, eclectic martial form. It has its roots in boxing, wrestling, Goju Karate, and especially Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu, founded by Dr. Moses Powell. The techniques taught in class are made to develop student’s physical ability and martial creativity, fomenting in the individual instinctive responsiveness to contentious real-life situations.
