I do kettlebells and some dumb bell work. Too beat up for heavy weightlifting. I work out with martial arts what I remember from John and my Wing Chum once a week and then combatives once a week. Lot less than I used to do but all I can handle now.

- The great thing about martial arts training is that is so flexible to our needs. We can train whenever we need to and we can modify skills for any type of person, including "the cripple".I train only once a week in martial arts with a few guys and spend several other days each week in other forms of conditioning. Keeps me going.....my goal is to be the best 80 year old martial artist around. And i've got 30 years to work on that!

I've got two artificial hips myself, they were new in 1993-94. Too many "jump spin whatevers" That's what led to arnis and the associated trapping, silat and such. Still a lot of things to try to master. I've been following John's arnis since around 2000 or 2001. Don't see him much these days, but that is probably my fault.

- Good to be "here", I guess I've been a "Malmoian" for several years coming from a very traditional TKD background. I've been referred to as an old cripple by some, so that probably says a lot about me and why i no longer do the Taekwondo thing! Keep in touch.
