Jesus Christ on a cracker is there no shame? I have been seeing this shite pop up every where. The martial arts in the west has taken on a cloak straight from the closet of Benny Hill. No wonder the arts have become fodder on internet forums and in the back rooms of the MMA world. It amazes me that people, who are supposedly smarter today than ever before can be so lame as to buy into this tripe.

If RED FLAGS don't scream skyward in your mind when you see advertisement of this sort then perhaps you are dead from the neck up. This type of martial idiocy rolls down hill and effects people trying to do it right. People like me and several others I know. We have good sound methodology that is effective and simple to learn. We can't even give it away because it lacks the fly by night attitude and flashy persona that todays 9-5 ninja craves. These sorts want it spoon fed to them. When they find that it is work and dedication it somehow becomes less palatable.

The more I see these types of people carousing Wal-Mart in their Gi and Obi (incorrectly tied) stocking up on energy drinks and pez, the more I want to sockem and scream WAKE UP((((((

LOL! Michael I have already expressed my thoughts on this to you before! Yes there are a lot of ignorant people out there, and even more uninformed. The problem lies in their teaching. So many people get involved with the MA with Delusions extending from movies and sport. Many do not understand that what they see is entertainment, period!! The ones who make an attempt either lose intrest or fail due to false teachings stemming from ignorance. Those who do know and get it, need to educate. Even though I get totally frustrated also. Another thought though is maybe it's OK. Maybe we don't want the masses learning what true combat is! Society has it's defenders....police, military, FEDS, ect. As you stated earlier with morons, I don't want them with real weapons!! That being said I need to call you and talk on a certain subject I have been thinking on.
We are in agreement yet again brother!

It pisses me off that schools make tons of cash off ignorant sheep while force feeding them crap that isn't real, practical, or true to the arts - while those of us that live and breathe for this often struggle just to make ends meet.

But, I also second Jason. It's nice to look around and know that these sheeple don't have the abilities and knowledge we do. =)
