Great explanation Ron. I think that all arts evolve or have to evolve according to each instructor's adaptation &/or adjustment according to their body type & size.

But all in all at the foundation, your inside sweep, cross block ... etc will essentially be the same as mine as our foundations of the sysem came from GGM Angel "The Source".

If we can build upon those foundational techniques, the fundamental drills i.e. free flow "sumbrad" & lock n' block, comprehend how this accentuates flow between ranges & how picking come into play everything else is the icing on our cake.

I know for me personally, I have been blessed to learn CSE, but even more so to be able to teach & promote Serrada Escrima wherever I go.

Regards,

Guro Mike

It would be fun to exchange stories. For example, nearly all of my native female cousins have been jailed at one time or another for stabbing, cutting, or beating the crap out of various men. You do not mess with the ladies on the Rez!

re: Thai kicks. If you have never experienced a truly powerful and well executed kick from a Thai practitioner, it is something not to be missed. I love what the Thai training added to my own kicking abilities. I have dropped many an opponent, student, and friend with them. =)
Hey Ron now that you know Mike Schwartz why don't you do an audio interview with Mike on FMA Chronicles? I'll give you his phone number so you all can get it started. Before we head out that way.We got the seminars at Long Beach coming up.
By the way I still have not seen the new logo.
