Guro Dan Inosanto is one of the greatest Instructors of our time.

Always the student with the intent to learn, has allowed him to be one of the most knowledgable practitioners today, in the martial arts. He is without exaggereration a very caring individual that has dedicated his life in the promotion of the arts we practise. I would like to say "Thank you Guro Dan, for sharing" pointing the way and giving us the navigational tools to sail!

He's coming to the Detroit area in May of this year. That would be close. Sifu Hatch would be able to answer questions for you that could start you down the path towards your goal.

I have been with him since the late 80's. I have seen changes in his teachings mostly because he is always taking a new direction in a new style. No one has done what he is still doing. He is a real martial scientist.

I am also a bit of a follower of Dan Inosanto. You may get a response from the people that follow Guro Dan. Your best bet would be to also contact his school directly and ask them who to contact to train in the Inosanto Method in your area: Go to

Do a quick Google "escrima toronto canada" and you might also find others who train in escrima, arnis and kali in your area to get you started.

Guro Dan is amazing & earlier this year got my apprentice instructorship in Jun Fan JKD & Filipino Martial Arts under him.

Big thanks to Guro Rick Faye from Minnesota & Guro David Onuma from the UK top martial artists in their own right.

Its was Guro Dan's birthday this week as well still doing his thing at 74 way to go!
