All,
Here is the schedule for the upcoming graduation:

10/4/13 - Friday Night Grad Practice at the Balubar Residence, 6-8pm. This will be the last Friday Night Practice. Thank you to the Balubar family for their hospitality and for hosting Friday Night Grad Practice this year.

10/5/13 - Evaluation - 11am-12 noon, Cunningham Lounge, San Joaquin Delta College. Instructors if you are available, please attend, as it will serve for practice for those instructors who do not attend practice on a regular basis.

10/19/13 - Graduation - Danner Hall, San Joaquin Delta College, 10:30am. We will have our Bi-Annual Meeting at 9:30am. After party will be at Butch's house, time to be determined.

Graduation is always a special time, not only for the Graduation Candidates, that have worked so hard all summer to earn this opportunity, but also for us, the Instructors and Graduates. If you plan to participate, and I hope everyone does, please attempt to come to practice. The candidates are ready, don't ruin their day because you haven't practiced and your timing sucks. Please get yourself ready, because Jay and Justice are, so don't let them make you look bad. With that said, I hope to see everyone participate in graduation, as I mentioned earlier, it's a special time when we all have the opportunity to get together to slap the taste out of some wannabe candidates mouth...Yeah Buddy...it's Bahala Na Time!!!

Friends & Family, After 12 great years its time I close my Sunday Morning Escrima Class. To mark it's closing and thank all the students who have supported & taught ME so much, I will be hosting a free Hand to Hand Fighting Workshop at the Shingu Fighter Gym located at 6852 Pacific Ave in Stockton. We will be covering strong techniques in multiple ranges in what I describe as the unarmed expression of the "Bahala Na Multi-Style Fighting Method." I strongly encourage you attend. 10-12 or 10-1pm depending on how much fun we are having. This is an adult event, but kids are welcome to observe or train on the sidelines. Hope to see you there. ~Glenn (209) 406-5160.

If you would like to participate or have any students who would like to have an exhibition fight,
please email me at kajudragon@sbcglobal.net

Here's the info (email trail) I sent to everyone ...

Guro Arnel,

As you know we are having our next sparring exhibition on April 13. Normally we have about 30 fights in: boxing, Muay Thai and MMA (pankration).

However this time, I would also like to add stick sparring, both live and padded, and possibly knives too. These would be set fights in our cage, so we would have to reach out to other FMA clubs and see if we can get some Eskrimadors to participate; single fights, not tournament style.

Let me know if you want to pursue this. I'm asking you since you are the head instructor of our FMA program at the Den. I think it will be an excellent way to showcase and highlight the Filipino Arts.

Good Morning UFMAC..

Again let me congratulate UFMAC on our 2nd annual tournament...it was much appreciated by parents, students and other folks new to FMA...

On that note, I would like to invite any and/or all FMA Eskrimadors to Dragon Den's Exhibition Sparring day on April 13th at "Da Den"...
Based on our success at the UFMAC tournament, Sigung Jeff has added a FMA section to the event...
what is required is for any FMA School or club to participate,
...is to respond to me with your Eskrimador's skill level, age and event style (i.e. padded point, continous padded point, Live (WEKAf) )

We at Dragons Den will try to match up folks for an appropriate match. Again be aware this is NOT a tournament, no medals or place given,
Just away another way to promote FMA/UFMAC and a chance to have fun...

Please let myself or Guro Arnel know if you have any questions...thanks for your interest and support..
