Hello Marc,
Here is what I know about the Stickfighting divisions for the Goldenstate Internationls to be held in Santa Clara (April 10, 2010).
There will be a Padded Stickfighting Division using the modified Eskrima Coalition Rules, It's 1 point for every point connected, 2 rounds. There will be 2 Live Stick Fighting divisions 1 using the W.E.K.A.F. equipment and rules (3-rounds), the other is the showcased Live Stick Fighting division event called Saltikan (2-rounds) which is live stick fighting without the body armor. Both of these divisions are using the 10-9 must system of scoring.

You can e-mail Jordan Pallens (jfpallen@aol.com) and he can help you or refer you to the right person who is in charge of the ruling for the tournment (..more information) or you can log on to www.godengateinternationals.com to see if that can help you with other information.
Hope to see you and or your school there.
Dave

fyi - we will also be having similar divisions on July 17, 2010 tournment in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Hotel (reserve that date! :)
