I believe a basic knowledge of the human body is essential to be a martial artist. I have ability to heal as a direct result of studying to be more combat effective. I have skills in manipulation of the back, neck, shoulders, hips which is put into use weekly. As time goes on I seem to get more out of helping people than I did years ago. We all get injured more often as we age and the ability to speed up the healing process is a valuable tool to keep us active.

I have been living off of my phone. My computer is down. It is hard to keep up with the topic of healing, via my phone. Thanx Mr. Malmo for your input. I put a video on Youtube called Panantukan with knife Part 1. In it I started to cover muscles attachments, nerves and blood vessels. Most acupressure strike points are very close to either nerves or blood vessels. The very same points can be used for healing. These videos were not very well recieved. So I stopped making Part 3, etc. If you go to sites other than Youtube you will notice they were removed by request by upset people. Maybe too violent? I liked part 2...oh well...I tried to begin a discussion on the importance of effective striking and later begin linking in healing. Interestingly, knowledge of the human body makes us better martial artists. Instead of filling the air with lead (hands and feet), we strive to become sharpshooters, attempting to hit more precisely to achieve maximum effect, thru minimal effort. Anyway, I hope to see more postings...Thanx again Mr. malmo....Ron Saturno
