GM Cristino B. Vasquez passed away at 4:45am, June 25th in the Philippines.  Cristino was a lifelong friend to the Presas family.  He trained with Jose B. Presas, Roberto, Remy, and Ernesto.  He was an extremely talented martial artist, but more importantly, he was an exemplary man.  Please join us in remembering Cristino.

Rest in peace my were compassionate, caring, funny, strong and a great escrimador..I loved your stories of Remy..and I'm blessed you adopted me into your family. Thank you for caring and training..and promoting my knives and system of use..i was honored you carried my CRMIPT.I'll remember you telling everyone that Remy told you he gave me the Family bolos from the mantel and you And Bert told me they now we're with someone who'd protect and respect them. .You were the other bolo guy in Modern Arnis..I'll miss being at the house..eating and talking with you..I'm lucky and blessed that Rene Tongson would make sure we at least talked if not met up. thank you for adopting me into the Vasquez family and being my brother in the arts. Thank you for training with me, eating with me and traveling with me. You made my many trips to the Philippines special. Im so glad you loved my sysem, my knives and my preserving presas bolo. I love you and miss'll live on in my heart, soul and teaching..RIP..dearCristino Vasquez..
