We have just created a new feature via Zorap. Members may utilize an elaborate video chat that integrates media sharing options. Users can drag and drop images, movies, and audio files into a group chat window. Each file is then streamed live from your hard drive, so everyone can watch or listen to the same thing simultaneously. Members may also simultaneously watch streamed YouTube videos.
We believe this will be a great addition for those that enjoy advanced instant messaging and chat features. Visit this new feature at: http://zorap.com/myfmanet or by clicking on the Video Chat sub-tab.
I signed up for the new chat and was bombarded with grundge music and the whole window had nothing to do with the chat. I am not a puter genious and have no idea what I did wrong or if this is the way it was set up. Seems to be a turn off to me... and maybe others.
We are currently beta testing this feature. Feedback is always appreciated.
All MyFMA.net users can add the application Zorap on their profile page.
Zorap supports full audio and video conferencing for up to 50 people simultaneously.
Zorap lets you share photos, music, videos, You Tube videos, or iMeem music videos with the other people in your room.
Sharing is LIVE - everyone sees everything at the same time.
Zorap works with most webcams and headsets.
Zorap works on Windows XP, Vista as well as Mac OS/X.
Firefox, Safari, and IE 6 and 7 are all supported by Zorap.
If you are on Windows XP or Vista, you can 'drag and drop' directly into your Zorap room. You can do this with photos, MP3 files, recorded videos (WMVs), or Microsoft Office files.
Buzz, when you entered there was a video playing that had the background music. Users can dismiss videos/music/etc. You can also turn the volume up or down for videos/music without effecting the volume for voice chat. Thanks for your feedback.
