MyFMA.net was created by John R. Malmo to help propagate the Filipino Martial Arts and encourage other FMA practitioners to share their passion with each other.

MyFMA.net welcomes everyone regardless of their background or style. It provides a network environment that allows the open exchanging of ideas and the opportunity to establish social relationships.

MyFMA.net members have unique profile pages and are able to post photos, videos, events, and blogs related to the Filipino Martial Arts. Members may join in live chat, video chat, discussions, and become members of groups that share backgrounds.

MyFMA.net is a complete network. It is not limited to forums. It is not limited to articles. It is not limited by style.

MyFMA.net currently has recognized Grandmasters, Masters, and Founders - as well as those that are new to the Filipino Martial Arts. Styles are represented from several FMA styles involving Arnis, Escrima / Eskrima, Kali, Buno, and Dumog.

MyFMA.net Features:

Member Profiles: Each member of MyFMA.net has a fully customizable profile with their photo, basic information, and everything they contribute to the community.

Photos: Members may post and organize their Filipino Martial Arts photos into albums and share them in galleries or slideshows.

Videos: Members may upload original Filipino Martial Arts videos or share clips from popular video services like YouTube and Google Video.

Events: Members may schedule Filipino Martial Arts events, invite other members, and track attendance.

Groups: Filipino Martial Arts systems may create their own sub-communites. These communities allow students of the same FMA system to share ideas, videos, discussions, and schedule events in their own dedicated area.

Blogs: Members may write and manage their own Filipino Martial Arts blogs.

Forum: Members may start a Filipino Martial Arts discussion with other members and respond with posts, photos, and videos.

Chat: Members may participate in a live, real-time network-wide chatroom as well as private chats with other members of MyFMA.net.

Video Chat: Members may utilize an elaborate video chat that integrates media sharing options. Users can drag and drop images, movies, and audio files into a group chat window. Each file is then streamed live from your hard drive, so everyone can watch or listen to the same thing simultaneously. Members may also simultaneously watch streamed YouTube videos.

Social Network Integration: Members may share photos and videos from MyFMA.net on their Facebook profiles. Members can display a MyFMA.net network badge with pride on their MySpace profile, blog or website.
