Hi All,

I would appreciate it if you would go to YouTube and type in Modern Arnis Basics by David Battaglia, watch the videos, and courteously let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Maestro Dave

Guro Battaglia,
This is my courteous review of the one video I saw on YouTube published on Nov 22, 2015 - Modern Arnis Basics by David Battaglia
From a curriculum point of view, what is being taught is indeed very basic and because of the pace in which the information is being presented a novice should be able to pick up the various techniques.
From a promotional point of view, certain components (identification, structure and energy levels, etc.) could use some improvement.

Hi Al S.

This is part of the beginning FMA material I teach to beginners.

The video you viewed was not necessarily made for promotional reasons. Instead, I hope to receive courteous reviews on the material being used and presented to FMA beginners.

Thank you for your courteous review.

Maestro Guro Dave

Al S. Thank you for your courteous feedback.

This part of your feed back is spot on. I made instructional tapes for my students. I decided to post one to get some feedback from fellow instructors and students of FMA's.

Your point is well taken on the difference between curriculum and promotion.

Maestro Guro

Lots of good stuff in this video, very well rounded and showing a lot of what you have to offer.. I know this is a slow pace novice video... but i agree with Al S maybe a more combative stance and energy would make the video presentation better.

Thank you Terry.

I value your advice.

Maestro Guro Dave

Thank you Terry Joven.
