Hello all,

I wanted to start this discussion, because I'm in need of help. I want to partake on naming a group that wants to promote and preserve Eskrima. It's a passionate group of individuals who are currently learning FMA. So my questions are:

How would you describe Eskrima?

What words would you describe that would immediately have someone think it's from Eskrima?

I know, it's an unusual request, but I would appreciate the help.

Thanks,

Marc

simple, fluid, effective

Adding to Mr. Guad's input - Simple, Fluid, Effective - Our Culture, Our Martial Art.

The term estimate comes from the word skirmish which means to fight/battle before guns and canons were invented.

A swordplay.
