What is the longest folder we can carry legallly ?

As Anthony noted, blade length will be determined by local legislation - if the individual wishes to comply.
Thankfully, Arkansas legislators finally got the message that in Arkansas carrying a knife does not make you a criminal. Our new laws make it so that we can carry any length of knife as it is no longer a primary offense to carry anything with a blade length over 3 1/4 inches.
However, knife legislation is always framed to indicate what length of knife you can carry for utility purposes. In the United States if you are carrying a knife for the purpose of "self-defense," you are going to be seen as in the wrong...
Permalink Reply by Bill on December 20, 2010 at 11:39pm I have a rekat sifu which has almost a 6.5 inch blade.. It has a low profile clip so the tip of it just barely clears the top of the pocket.. When you open it, it is over 12 inches in length..
